Who Are We?

 

The United Nationals Democratic Alliance (UNDA) is an international organisation that aims to embody the Theory of Universal Humanness, which was formed and crystallized by Dr- Rifaat Al-Assad, Chairman of the founding board of the United Nationals Democratic Alliance. A number of statements relating to this theory are analysed in his book, Towards a Renewal of a Universal Ideology.

The United Nationals Democratic Alliance hopes to provide a framework in which the values of Justice, Peace and Freedom are played out. It seeks to create an arena in which there is no discrimination between nations, race or religion, thereby encompassing all of humankind. This is grounded in the belief that all are individuals and peoples are unique and precious and bear their own specific traits. This must be celebrated within a consciousness of global unity and coexistence which has at its core the trinity of Justice, Peace and Freedom which exist as an undivided unity; one cannot exist without the other two.

By adopting the Theory of Universal Humanness, the United Nationals Democratic Alliance exemplifies an intellectual and cultural revolution towards the renewal of a universal ideology. This is the primary aim of this organisation. It opposes all types of fanaticism, chauvinism and extremism. It believes in the development of a democratic political ideology that rejects inflexibility, dogmatism and segregation which lead to individualism and dwarfed and disconnected thought and expression.

Thus, the United Nationals Democratic Alliance provides a framework to integrate national movements and facilitate their cooperation at regional and international levels. This creates a platform for regional and international co-operation on the basis of Justice, Peace and Freedom. This will then form the springboard for innovation and progression in all fields.

The United Nationals Democratic Alliance embodies a new concept for the co-existence of human cultures and their unification and integration to re-shape the identity of different countries and nations towards belief in Justice, Peace and Freedom.

The United Nationals Democratic Alliance is also an international educational project intending to ground future generations in the principles of equality, togetherness and wholeness that are intertwined due to their foundations of Justice, Peace and Freedom. Thus, it is a new intellectual school of culture and education which is established on the values of Justice, Peace and Freedom, to ensure the peaceful transition from one era to another. This will take us out of the wreckage of past ideologies and the resulting culture of nihilism and chaos in which unprincipled disparity and dispute exists among and between nations. This threatens peace, undermines security and has transformed the world into a scene of conflict and existential negation that could persist for generations and centuries.

The United Nationals Democratic Alliance:

Our objectives are to advance good governance across the world by promoting close collaboration between countries based on the principles of equal rights and self-determination. In addition, we will encourage cooperation between countries with a view to providing solutions to economic, social, cultural and humanitarian challenges on the basis of human rights. Once these objectives are in effect they will provide a strong foundation for Justice, Freedom and Peace.

Membership is open to any individual who wishes to become an associate member (as defined in the articles of Association) , who is interested in furthering the work of the UNDA, and has paid the annual subscription fee.

Definitions

Universal Humanness

At the beginning of time, the earth was populated by four legged animals with a simplicity of purpose, i.e. survival. Then God created Adam to stand upright on two legs and have a complexity of purpose and thought. This could be described as universal humanness; the ability to stand upright and be distinguished morally and fundamentally from the animal kingdom. This is once again necessary at the present time. The UNDA calls for a renaissance of Universal Humanness where humankind stands upright remembering its roots in Adam.

The definition of Universal Humanness is that the core essence of what it is to be truly human inherently includes morality, respect and ethics by its very definition. This, therefore, can be expressed within the framework of a universal global identity resulting in the trinity of Justice, Peace and Freedom.
