Michael McClary is the United Nationals Alliance director who oversees its dealings with the United States of America. He retired from the National Nuclear Security Administration of the U.S. Department of Energy in 2003 after almost forty years serving his country. He is currently an independent consultant associated with the management and consulting firm of Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc. As a senior executive at the Department of Energy, he focused on nuclear nonproliferation, nuclear safety, national security and other foreign policy issues. During his time in the United States Army, he served as an Armored Cavalry Troop Commander in Vietnam and in Germany as an intelligence officer among other assignments. He has traveled widely throughout the world, especially in Russia and other countries of the former Soviet Union, where he was in charge of “locking up loose nukes.” He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy and a Master of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of California. He lives in Culpeper, Virginia with his golden retriever, Bear.
